Here I sit at the Charlotte airport and probably will for several more hours. I fly on a pass, thanks to my son the pilot. That’s the upside. The downside is that I fly “space available”. The flight I had planned on being on is overbooked and the next one as well, according to the woman at the counter. So, okay. I’ve got a whole bunch of time and don’t have a plan for it. My plan was to be on the flight, get to Phoenix and have dinner with my friend. What is that saying? “If you wanna make God laugh, tell him your plans.” I hear him or her chuckling. Over time I have learned to be easy with what I think is going to happen and, when it doesn’t, enter the land of possibilities. I’m interested to see what happens throughout this day as a result of the change. There isn’t a thing I can do to force my plan into action so I trust. I’ll keep you posted.
